Analytics Analyst London 2022
CBRE Investment Management has an opening for anAnalytics Analyst within our Analytics Team. The new position will be based in London (UK).
The role will include responsibility to support global financial performance and analysis as part of the wider Analytics Team at the Indirect business line which is a division of CBRE Investment Management dedicated to investments with operating partners via funds, co-investments, and joint ventures.
The successful candidate will work closely with different international business stakeholders as part of the Analytics Team.
The Team consist of five people located both in London and Amsterdam focusing both on performance and portfolio analytics. This role will support both functions with an emphasis on portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Build reports and visualizations.
- Maintain and operate performance databases in a consistent manner and best practice approach to performance analysis.
- Support the Analytics team and the wider Indirect business for performance related analyses to present both internally and externally as well as to prospective clients.
- Support Portfolio Managers, Investment Managers and Investor Services teams on matters relating to data analysis including client reporting and business growth initiatives.
- Liaise with accounting team for data provision and handling data exceptions.
- Collaborate with multiple departments within the Indirect division including the regional investment teams, portfolio management team and financial operations team.
Key Skills/Experience
- Must be degree educated and preferably have a relevant data science, real estate, mathematics, economics, finance, business or related qualification.
- Up to two years of relevant experience that has been acquired in a data analysis, real estate performance, finance or investment management environment preferable but not essential.
- Excellent technical and Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL, R, Python and/or BI tools are preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Passion for numbers and enthusiasm to learn.
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Accurate under time pressure and exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly motivated individual, willing to work autonomously and as part of a wider team with good interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness/ability to travel.
